Keeping you up to date
Some pets will require ongoing medication for a period of time, others will be on medication throughout their lives.
We have designed our repeat prescription process to make sure that the health of your pet is continually monitored, so we can be sure their health is the best it can be, whilst also being as efficient as possible for you.
All patients that are on any long-term medication will be monitored by our Veterinary Surgeon and will require a health check on a regular basis. These health checks will be every six months, unless the Veterinary Surgeon recommends the checks to be done more frequently. Some medication will require your pet to have a blood test or stay in for a day to be monitored, but the vet will discuss this with you.
You can request your medication by phoning us or calling into one of the practices.
We ask that you allow 2 working days for the prescription to be ready for collection, this is to allow the Veterinary surgeon to authorise the prescription and for the medication to be ordered.
